This new project was started in mid-September 2007.
It is in line with the mission of the Institute of the Misericordia Sisters.
There are two parts to this project. |

FIRST PART
Tutorship project:
a) Individual tutorship for children 0-6 years of age
- developmental tutorship
and/or
- behavioural tutorship.
b) Individual assistance to parents.
Who may benefit from this assistance?
- Children and parents who have been in contact with the Cercle Éducatif (Educational Circle).
- Children and parents who are referred by the Early Childhood Centre situated close to
le Centre d'accompagnement éducatif (the Educational Tutorship Centre).

SECOND PART
In this second part, books are used to enable parents to discover how they
can help their children to develop: sense of observation, language, memory, etc...
Books are available on loan. There are plans to hold individual meetings and
small group meetings.
WHAT CONTINUED AFTER THE CLOSING OF LE CERCLE ÉDUCATIF (THE EDUCATIONAL CIRCLE)
- The Christian journey, meetings once a month on a Sunday.
- The support team for the Group of Parents of the Misericordia Family.
- Numerous visits by parents and children at the community house on Briand street.
