The Misericordia Sisters, in the process to obtain the canonization of Rosalie Cadron-Jetté, or Mother de la Nativité, in religion, claim in a document prepared by Sister Marie-Thérèse Bourque that their founder "as a spouse, mother, widow, and nun, is a source of inspiration for our world and in our lives".


1 - (1950)
Mother Sainte-Madeleine-de-Pazzi appoints Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face as celestial postulant for the Cause of Rosalie Cadron-Jetté.


2 - (1836)
Death of Marie-Hedwige, 4 years old, eleventh child of Rosalie Cadron and Jean-Marie Jetté, in Montreal.


5 - (1811)
Wedding contract between Rosalie Cadron and Jean-Marie Jetté in Lavaltrie, in the house where the bride to be was born.


6 - (1841)
Inauguration of the Mont Saint-Hilaire Way of the Cross by Msgr de Forbin-Janson, bishop of Nancy, France.  Mrs. Jetté makes a pilgrimage on foot, three years in a row to Mont Saint-Hilaire before the founding of the Sainte-Pélagie Hospice in 1845.


7 - (1811)
Celebration of the wedding of Rosalie Cadron and Jean-Marie Jetté at Saint-Antoine de Lavaltrie parish.


8 - (1845)
Birthday of saint Pélagie, name given to the Maternity by Msgr Bourget.

Arrival as associate of Justine Filion (Sister St-Joseph), celibate, 44 years old.

Petition of Sister Rose-Aimée Roy to His Excellency Msgr Paul Grégoire to begin the canonical investigation of Rosalie Cadron-Jetté.

Burial of Antoine, younger brother of Rosalie (stillborn or died at birth) in Lavaltrie.


26 - (1828)
Rosalie Cadron is godmother at the christening of her nephew Jean-Olivier Jetté, son of Paul Jetté and Julie Roy, in Montreal.


26 - (1841)
Wedding of Pierre Jetté, son of Rosalie Cadron, to Geneviève Paul in Châteauguay.


31 - (1879)
First exhumation of the remains of Mother de la Nativité.


1837 - 1841
Wedding of François Jetté, fourth child of Rosalie Cadron and Jean-Marie Jetté, to Henriette Castagnier.  In spite of extensive investigation, the date and place of their wedding is still unknown.
