Restored with the help of many volunteers, thanks to the financial support of the City of Lavaltrie,
the Caisse populaire Desjardins in Lavaltrie and the Misericordia Sisters,
this typical Farmer's house witnessed the birth of Rosalie Cadron-Jetté (1794-1864),
mother of 11 children and foundress of the Misericordia Sisters.
With its genuine antiques,
its small museum that relates the life and work of this famous Lavaltrie resident,
its vegetable garden and its oven for bread, your visit will take you 200 years back.
