and begins her apostolate.

Arrival of Geneviève Salois, widow of Clément Montrait, certified midwife,
50 years old. Sick, she leaves the noviciate but asks Mgr. Bourget and Mrs.
Jetté to allow her to die at the house. In the Summer of 1847, she dies of
typhus fever.
