1 - (2000)
JUBILE 2000 - We are entering the 2000th year following the first "YES" of Mary, woman visited by an angel.   This event has become the measure of our time; years are counted as of this date.   These two thousand years of history of Christianity are "extremely important" wrote Jean Paul II.  This jubilee has become a Holy Year and a "call to conversion".  Beginning with the night of Christmas 1999, the jubilee will continue until January 6, 2001.  Let us celebrate together this jubilee, offering our hearts to joy, pardon and unity.  Let us unite in the act of prayer and laud in thanksgiving to Mary, mother of the true life.

Retirement of Mrs. Jetté and seven of her companions in preparation of their religious profession planned for January 16, 1848.


9 - (1841)
Burial of Joseph Labelle, young man converted by Rosalie, while they were working together,tending the sick suffering from the epidemic diseases of the time.


16 - (1848)
Foundation of the Institute of the Misericordia Sisters and religious profession of Rosalie Cadron-Jetté and seven of her companions.   The new initiates receive a name of religion: the founder Rosalie Cadron-Jetté, receives the title of sister de la Nativité; Sophie Desmarêts-Raymond, sister of Saint-Jean-Chrysostôme; Lucie Benoît, Sainte-Béatrix; Marguerite Gagnon, sister Saint-François-de-Sales; Lucie Lecourtois, sister Marie-des- Sept-Douleurs; Josephte Malo-Galipeau, sister Sainte-Jeanne-de-Chantal; Justine Filion, sister Saint-Joseph; Adélaïde Lauzon, sister Sainte-Marie- d'Égypte.


17 - (1848)
First election of the members to the counsel of the Misericordia Sisters: Josephte Malo, widow of Alexis Galipeau, (named) Mother Sainte-Jeanne-de-Chantal, is elected to the office of mother superior, Rosalie Cadron widow of Jean-Marie Jetté, named Mother de la Nativité, is elected to the office of counsellor while continuing her work of nurse which consists of "helping the girls and the women with their health problems.


27 - (1794)
Birth and christening of Rosalie Cadron at Saint-Antoine de Lavaltrie, by the bishop Louis Lamotte, parish priest of Lanoraie.   Until 1827, the parish of Lavaltrie was a subsidiary of Lanoraie.

Mariage of Sophie Cadron, Rosalie's sister, to François Laberge, in the parish of Saint-François-Xavier de Verchères.


27 - (1839)
Rosalie Cadron-Jetté is the godmother at the christening of her nephew Louis- Joseph Laberge, son of Sophie and of François Laberge, in the parish of Saint Nom de Marie in Montreal (Notre-Dame Church).


27 - (1844)
Rosalie Cadron-Jetté is the godmother at the christening of her grand daughter Marie-Anastasie, daughter of Léonard Jetté and Anastasie Hubout known as Tourville, in the parish of Saint Nom de Marie in Montreal. (Notre-Dame Church).
