| The Misericordia Family is growing... |
During the last few months, two new groups have joined the Misericordia Family: "The Family Home of Rosalie" and "The Lanterns of Rosalie"
THE FAMILY HOME OF ROSALIE
The Family Home of Rosalie represents the members of the Board of Directors and the "Corporation de la Maison de Rosalie-Cadron", Lavaltrie, Quebec, Canada. The objective of this group, whose name is very significant, is to preserve and enhance the value of the home in which the foundress of the Misericordia Sisters, Rosalie Cadron-Jetté, was born and in which she lived for many years. The house in question was built around the year 1790 and it was saved from demolition thanks to people who were totally dedicated to the cause. Through sheer determination, these people supported this daring task with the help of many generous volunteers. The house has now become a beautiful and welcoming historical site open to the public during the summer and by appointment at other times. To visit the site click here: www.maisonrosaliecadron.org |

THE LANTERNS OF ROSALIE |
The Lanterns of Rosalie is the name chosen by the people who faithfully look after the mailing of the Quarterly Bulletin of the Rosalie Cadron-Jetté Centre (RCJC). These are the reasons why they wish to be part of the Large Misericordia Family. "We want to create a more meaningful bond, to make our dear Mother Rosalie better known by continuing and supporting the beatification Cause; we wish to pray for her intercession, to have a voice in the Large Misericordia Family, to pay close attention to the people in our midst who speak to us about their need for her intercession..."
