The Twin Works are organizations having the same objective and the same
philosophy as the Misericordia Sisters, who at the request of the founders,
collaborate in various ways.
How can an Institution become a Twin Work?
An institution characterized by the above mentioned features may be invited by
the General Council of the Misericordia Sisters to belong to the Family or it
can apply for membership. In both cases, it must comply with the criteria set
up by the 1991 General Chapter.

The links between the Twin Works and the Institute
Each Twin Work is twinned, so to speak, to a work or a house of the
Misericordia Sisters so as to remain in constant contact and provide support
in the performance of the mission. Such relations give a dynamic impulse to
people of both groups for the benefit of the mothers and children.

Commitment
The Board of Directors or its equivalent urges the organization to maintain
a spirit of mercy in its work and to take the means needed to impart it to
its staff.
Which are these Twin Works?
Twin Works are to be found in Montréal, Saint-Eustache and Gatineau in the
province of Québec and also in Ligueil, France.
