The Heritage Group


Which are the constituents of the Heritage Group?

The Heritage Group is made up of the works set up by the Misericordia Sisters, the corporation, administration and coordination of which are henceforth secured by people other than the Misericordia Sisters and who carry on the mission of the Institute with the same spirit. An annual encounter allows delegates from this group to meet, and arouse or deepen the spirit of mercy.


How can an organization become part of the Heritage Group?

For this group, as for the Twin Works, it is up to the Board of Directors of the organization to decide whether to become a part of the Heritage Group at the invitation of the General Council of the Misericordia Sisters.


Commitment

The members of the Board of Directors of the concerned institution commit themselves to carry on with the spirit of mercy which the Sisters hope they have imparted to them.


Where are those organizations located?

This group is made up of organizations established in Canada: in Toronto, Ontario, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Edmondon, Alberta and in the United States in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
